Family Meetings in Hospice and Palliative Care
Thursday, August 12, 2021, 12:30 PM ET This free live webinar will discuss the importance of the family meeting as a best practice for advance care planning and caregiver support in hospice and palliative care. The presenters will discuss best practices related to the family meeting in hospice and palliative care, core communication skills integral to the family meeting, and challenging clinical scenarios within the context of the family meeting.

The webinar offers CME and CE credit for nurses, social workers, and music therapists.

Pediatric Pain Management
Thursday, August 19, 2021, 12:30 PM ET

This free live webinar will review the assessment and treatment of pain in children with advanced illness. The presenter will identify barriers to pain management in children, explain the signs and symptoms associated with pain in the pediatric hospice patient, and discuss pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic management strategies for pain in the pediatric hospice population.
