Homelessness and Palliative Care within Regional, Rural and Remote NSW

Call for Participants

Palliative Care NSW is currently conducting a second study on homelessness and palliative care in Regional, Rural and Remote NSW.

The study will focus on access to palliative care, and the barriers that inhibit or prevent those experiencing homelessness from being able to access palliative care, within regional, rural and remote communities.

The definition of homelessness used within this study includes those experiencing primary homelessness, as well as those living in overcrowded or insecure housing.

If you are involved in a health or social service within Regional, Rural or Remote NSW, you are invited to participate in this study.

We will be interviewing people involved in health and social services. Where possible we will conduct these interviews face to face, however, they can also be conducted remotely where required.

We expect to begin interviews in March/April 2023. Your views and experiences are extremely valuable, and all information collected will be treated confidentially and de-identified.
