Palliative Care NSW has partnered with the Hunter New England LHD to return to Tamworth for a Supportive & Palliative Care Education Day.
Part of a new roadshow series, this is an opportunity to connect with peers and hear from a range of speakers on topics relevant to providing quality care in a rural location. This event is for anyone providing supportive and palliative care, from inpatient to community, acute, aged and primary care. Sessions will include:
- The changing landscape of supportive and palliative care
- Improving care for those with a chronic disease
- Meeting the palliative care needs of those with dementia
- Palliative care in aged care

A casual dinner will be held on Tuesday 16th June for anyone local, those arriving into Tamworth early, or for those who are attending the Allied Health Study Day.
Note: This event will follow the HNELHD Allied Health in Supportive & Palliative Care Study Day being held on Tuesday 16th June. You are welcome to attend both the Allied Health Study Day on the 16th AND the PCNSW Education Day on the 17th.
Separate registrations are required for both events.
