Patients, families and carers will soon benefit from refurbishments to palliative care services at Lithgow Hospital.
The $227,000 refurbishments would help bring comfort to people at the end of life, along with their families and carers, member for Bathurst Paul Toole said.
“We’re caring for some of our most vulnerable patients and we want to make sure they are in an environment that’s comfortable and home like,” Mr Toole said.
“I am pleased that Lithgow Hospital will be getting its own dedicated palliative care area.
