The 2023 Murray to Moyne team has raised more than $11,000 and have purchased new equipment for Deniliquin Hospital.
The Deniliquin Hospital is a 46 bed facility including 26 acute beds, eight day surgery beds, four maternity beds, six emergency department beds and two treatment rooms.
The 2023 Murray to Moyne team worked in conjunction with Deniliquin Hospital to purchase a new Ook Snow All Bariatric Hospital Bed donated to the palliative care unit.
The bed cost more than $27,000 which was purchased with this years ride funds raised, combined with built up funds from previous rides.
The fully automatic bed will enable a closer, more comfortable option for patients and their families when they enter palliative care.
We are pleased to see how the community efforts enhance the patient care with such an important donation.
