Calling all writers for Grieve Project

Are you a budding writer? Or already widely published?

Just a reminder that Grieve 2021 is calling for submissions from all Australian writers, published or unpublished.

The Grieve Project, hosted by Hunter Writer’s Centre, is an annual writing project that invites writers to express their experiences with grief.  The entries are collated into a printed anthology in honour of Grief Awareness Month, which happens in August each year.

Palliative Care NSW is a long-term sponsor of the Grieve Project.

“It’s important that we promote compassionate communities when it comes to end-of-life care”, says Linda Hansen, CEO, Palliative Care NSW.  “It’s a difficult subject however talking about grief is essential to supporting those who work and volunteer in palliative care.  Supporting the Grieve Project for Hunter Writer’s Centre is a valuable relationship for us.”
