PCNSW’s Annual Report for the financial year 2023 – 2024 has been released, including the financial report. The Annual Report highlights the key projects and events that have taken place during this financial year, including community engagement, sector engagement and development, research, and advocacy efforts.
PCNSW is proud to have further developed the Volunteer Support Services Programme (VSSP), supporting volunteers, volunteer managers and volunteer services across NSW. The Palliative Care Guidance Service has received a steady increase in calls as the service becomes more widely known amongst community members and health professionals.
PCNSW delivered numerous Community Conversations sessions across NSW, including partnering with Healthy North Coast PHN, Northern NSW Local Health District and Mid North Coast Local Health District to deliver sessions during National Palliative Care Week 2024. The Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Connections Project also made significant progress this financial year, working to deliver CALD Community Conversation sessions with community groups later in 2024.
