The resources listed below offer essential information to help support health professionals providing palliative care in the Aged Care Sector. These educational resources are free. Some do require you to register before access.
Palliative Care NSW would like to acknowledge the work done by the following organisations in creating palliative care resources for Aged Care communities within Australia: ELDAC, PEPA, The Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre, CareSearch.

ELDAC (End of Life Direction for Aged Care)
ELDAC provides provides information, guidance, toolkits with video resources for aged care staff working in primary care, home care and residential aged care to support palliative care provision.

The Equip Aged Care Learning Modules are free for anyone interested in the aged care sector, including personal care workers, nurses, allied health professionals, volunteers and families.
On completion of all modules in the introductory or refresher learning package, an additional certificate is available which details learning and CPD hours.
