Community Conversations
Free workshops to help you plan your future health and care decisions and talk about what matters most.
Community Conversations is a free, 1.5-hour live education session designed to help people better understand advance care and end-of-life planning, and to feel more confident having these important conversations.
What You’ll Learn
✅How to begin an advance care plan so your health decisions reflect what matters most to you
✅What palliative care is, when it can help, and how to access it
✅How to start conversations with loved ones about your values, wishes, and preferences
✅Local support services available, with guidance from a health professional in your area
✅How to navigate end-of-life matters
Who Should Attend?
Everyone is welcome – at any age or stage of life.
These sessions are particularly helpful if you:
✅Are an active retiree
✅Have ageing parents and want to understand available supports
✅Are living with a serious illness
✅Are caring for someone with a serious illness
✅Simply want to be better informed and prepared for the future
⭐All attendees will receive a free resource kit and the confidence to navigate life’s most difficult transitions
