iCanPlan Program: Improving Advance Care Planning Among CALD Communities (Online)

To celebrate National Palliative Care Week, we are opening the May member circle of PCNSW’s CALD Communities & Palliative Care Professional Network to ALL members of PCNSW. The theme for National Palliative Care Week is Getting to the heart of it: Big Questions. Real Answers.🧡

The CALD Communities & Palliative Care Professional Network allows members of Palliative Care NSW to come together once a quarter to engage in peer-to-peer discussions and consultation regarding culturally appropriate palliative care. This Network is open to all PCNSW members, and we invite you to join and engage with these discussions and presentations.

Dr Ashfaq Chauhan and Dr Upma Chitkara from Macquarie University will be presenting on the iCanPlan Program, which aims to improve the uptake of Advance Care Planning communication among people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds who require language support.

A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
