Seminar to explore being present in the swamps & shadowlands of palliative care

A great line up of speakers will gather on the 19th of June in Warilla to present our one-day seminar ‘Being Present: Spirituality, disruption and reflection in Palliative Care‘. 

The event is aimed at palliative care staff and volunteers, pastoral care staff and volunteers and is also open to other staff and volunteers, and members of the public.

Morning program:

What can end of life care learn from after death care? – Amy Sager, Tender Funerals

Disruption, displacement and diaspora: the landscape of grief, loss and bereavement in palliative care and the role of the volunteer – Pippa Blackburn, PCOC

The event is hosted by the Volunteer Support Services Programme at Palliative Care NSW.
