Community Conversations

Caring for someone or planning ahead? Join us for a conversation about end-of-life planning and support free of charge.

Community Conversations is a free, 1.5-hour education session that brings together palliative care experts and community members for open, thoughtful discussions on topics around end-of-life planning.
You’ll gain the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions and access the care you need to:
- Navigate end-of-life matters
- Understand what palliative care is and how to access
- Explore the local support services available to you and your loved ones
- Learn how to start your advance care plan
- Start the conversation with loved ones about what matters most to you
Everyone of all ages is welcome! Active retirees, if you are starting to realise your parents are getting older and you need to start thinking about the supports available for them, if you have a serious illness or are currently caring for someone with a serious illness or if you just want to be better informed navigating end-of-life affairs.
Attendees will receive a free resource kit and the confidence to navigate life’s most difficult transitions. Don’t miss this opportunity to get the answers you need and take control of your future!
Want to host a free, in-person session? We’re looking for folks across NSW who’d be willing to host a face-to-face session at their workplace or in their community. Palliative Care NSW will travel to you, secure a venue and provide catering. Or, you can join one of the upcoming sessions listed below.
The Community Conversations project is supported by funding from NSW Ministry of Health and our local partners across NSW.
