Join us for a conversation about advance care and end-of-life planning free of charge.

Community Conversations is a free, 1.5-hour education session around advance care and end-of-life planning. Topics covered:

  • Understand what palliative care is and how to access it
  • Start the conversation with loved ones about your values & preferences
  • Local support services available with a member from your local health district
  • How to navigate end-of-life matters
  • How to start your advance care plan, ensuring your health decisions reflect what matters most to you

Everyone of all ages is welcome! Active retirees, if you have ageing parents and need to start thinking about the supports available for them, if you have a serious illness or are currently caring for someone with a serious illness or if you just want to be better informed navigating end-of-life affairs.

Attendees will receive a free resource kit and the confidence to navigate life’s most difficult transitions.

Want to host a free, in-person session? We’re looking for folks across NSW who’d be willing to host a face-to-face session at their workplace or in their community. Palliative Care NSW will travel to you, secure a venue and provide catering. Or, you can join one of the upcoming sessions listed below.
