Podcasts for palliative medicine

Palliative Medicine is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to improving knowledge and clinical practice in the palliative care of patients with advanced disease. Their  publishing of research outcomes provides evidence which informs clinical practice but like most journals, it is behind a paywall.

You can get around the paywall by listening to their free podcast series called “SAGE palliative Medicine & Chronic Care“. In this series, researchers who have had papers published in the journal also recorded summaries of their work, hoping to spread the information out further.

So far they have 23 podcasts available with the most recent one being, ” Understanding meaning in life interventions in patients with advanced disease” by Dr Mariona Guerrero.

Access the SAGE Palliative Medicine & Chronic Care podcasts on the Palliative Medicine website, subscribe to the podcast from iTunes here or subscribe to the RSS feed here.
