As part of Palliative Care New South Wales, the Volunteer Services Support Program (VSSP) is here to champion palliative care volunteering across the state.

The VSSP provides resources, education, and support to palliative care volunteers and volunteer services and work towards building capacity in the sector.

VSSP is available to consult with organisations looking to introduce palliative care volunteering into their service, whether that be to reinvigorate an existing service or to build one from scratch. The program can help you understand the role of volunteers and how they add value to your service, the importance of proper volunteer management, and advise on policy and procedure.

Through experience, networking, and research, VSSP contributes to a body of knowledge on palliative care volunteering.
