Nominations now open for public health awards

The Australian Medical Association is now accepting nominations for the 2018 Public Health Awards.

Last year, the AMA Excellence in Healthcare Award was presented to Dr Denis Lennox who has greatly contributed to the advancement in the training of rural GPs and specialist generalists.

The 2017 AMA Woman in Medicine Award was awarded to Dr Genevieve Goulding for her continued commitment to, and support of, her specialty of anaesthesia, peers, patients and the broader community, and her significant contribution to advocacy, workforce and medical leadership.
