Closing COB 23 November 2018
The ACI have research funds up for grabs. Eight small grants will be awarded to successful applicants for projects of a maximum two year period. Total amount of funding for each project is a maximum of $30,000.
Translating research into practice and policy is a high priority for the ACI.
So they are particularly looking for multi-method studies, that deploy realist evaluation, and draw on disciplines and theories from both the clinical and health sciences, and the organisational and social sciences.
This year’s focus is funding projects that align with the strategic and operational objectives for each of the ACI’s eight clinical streams, across the two clinical directorates Preserving and Restoring through Interventions in Surgery and Medicine (PRISM) and Care Across the Lifecycle and Society (CATALYST).
Applicants are required to engage and discuss proposed research with relevant networks/taskforces and institutes within the clinical streams.
Successfully funded projects are expected to provide progress reports, and to present their progress and findings at specially convened ACI forums.
