“Harmony in C” explores how being in a community choir can improve the quality of life and health of adults in South Western Sydney who have had cancer, their family, friends, carers, students and those who lost someone to cancer.
This project is a research collaboration between the South Western Sydney Local Health District and Western Sydney University, with ethics approval from both institutions, and it is led by by Dr Michael Camit, PhD on this topic and also a passionate singer himself.
They are recruiting a broad representation of volunteers to participate in it from multicultural communities.
Volunteers will receive 8 weeks of choir training sessions and a performance – for free!
