Today is International Women’s Day (IWD)
IWD sees several MISSIONS to help forge a gender equal world.
Celebrating women’s achievements and increasing visibility, while calling out inequality, is key.
One of the missions for this year’s IWD is to assist women to be in a position of power to make informed decisions about their health.
We would like to congratulate all the Women working in the Palliative Care and health sector, on this special day. We would like to honour their dedication and genuine care to their clients and patients so that they have the best possible life even with a life limiting illness.
– Where Women Work makes all the difference –
We also would like to honour Women suffering from a life limiting illness that are brave and courageous enough to keep going despite the challenges life may present them and make a positive impact on those around them.
– It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light. Aristotle –
