August is Grief Awareness Month. Each year the Hunter Writer’s Centre conducts a national writing competition, called the Grieve Project, inviting published or unpublished authors to express their feelings and experiences of grief. PCNSW proudly sponsors this competition as it encourages community conversation around grief and bereavement, emotions that will be encountered by everyone approaching or experiencing end of life. The best of the entries are published in a Grieve anthology each year. The selected anthology entries have been announced and top prize winners will also be announced throughout August.
