Palliative Care Australia has announced the 24 finalists for the 2025 National Palliative Care Awards. The prestigious awards, proudly sponsored by Silverchain, celebrate excellence, innovation, and leadership across Australia’s palliative care sector. From all nominations received, judges selected three finalists in each of the eight categories, which included:
- Emerging Leader
- Emerging Researcher
- Outstanding Work by a Team in Delivering Palliative Care
- Innovation in Palliative Care
- Outstanding Achievement in Volunteering
- Outstanding Achievement in Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Palliative Care
- Outstanding Achievement by an Individual in Palliative Care
- Lifetime Achievement Award
Palliative Care NSW congratulates all finalists and would like to make special mention of the 4 finalists from NSW. We will be cheering you on at the awards ceremony to be held at the Oceanic Palliative Care Conference in Brisbane on Thursday 11 September hosted by comedy great, and palliative care advocate, Jean Kittson. Kevin was awarded the PCNSW 2025 NSW Palliative Care Volunteer of the Year Award.
