Meals on Wheels has been providing Australian communities with nutritious meals, social connection, and wellbeing checks for seven decades.
As a tribute to this remarkable legacy, Meals on Wheels baked a cake specifically crafted to nourish the body and the mind: The Unforgettable Cake.
By combining beetroot, spinach, turmeric, and more, this cake delivers a harmonious blend of flavour, texture, and nutrition.
The Unforgettable Cake is a delicious brain-boosting treat that can be purchased at the Hearthe café in Stanmore ($1 from every slice gets donated back to Meals on Wheels NSW.)
On Tuesday, PCNSW attended the Hearthe café in support of this fantastic initiative. The cake not only looked very appealing but was really delicious!
PCNSW acknowledges the contribution that Meals on Wheels and their Volunteers have made throughout the years by helping frail, older people and younger people with disabilities and their carers to maintain their independence at home, where they are often happiest.
