On Tuesday the 22nd of August John Hossack Funeral Services (435 Wilson Street, Albury 02 6041 3855) are opening their funeral home to anyone who wants to come, talk and tour their facilities. “Have you ever wondered what funeral directors do? How we take care of loved one’s after they leave your loving care? We would like to spend some time with you, and invite you to our funeral home, where we can explain all those unanswered questions, perhaps talk about how you would like us to be when we are at your facility, discuss ways to make the transfer from your care into our care as relaxed as possible for all those concerned…There will also be a time to listen to a short chat from one of our esteemed local celebrants who has written books about funerals. There will be an opportunity to discuss anything and everything and we will have a tour of our facilities and our mortuary”.
On the evening of Wednesday the 23rd of August (6.30-8.30pm) the folk at Greenwich Hospital are holding a Dying to Know Day event “What are you dying to know?” at Pallister House in the grounds of Greenwich Hospital (97-115 River Rd Greenwich, 02 8788 3961).
