About the Opportunity
Primary & Community Health are recruiting for a Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2 to complement and enhance the current Palliative Care Nursing Team at Rosemeadow Community Health Centre.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced palliative care nurse to join a friendly team. The palliative care team is committed to providing care to client’s in their home at the end of their life and providing support to family and carers.
Successful candidates will have an opportunity to carry a clinical caseload and gain leadership experience by providing mentorship and supervision to colleagues and other nursing staff.
What You’ll be Doing
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is an expert Palliative Care practitioner who, through leadership facilitates evidence based practice. The Palliative Care CNC will promote a service which fosters clinical excellence, research and professional leadership. The Palliative Care CNC contributes to quality health care by collaborating with the health care providers and consumer groups, developing clinical practice standards and evaluating their outcomes. The Palliative Care CNC is responsible for providing services which facilitate effective management of the care in the given specialty.
